The NEET UG 2025 application process has started on February 7 and the last date is March 7. The exam will be conducted on May 4. A new updated syllabus was released by the NMS. The result for this exam will be declared on June 14 2025.

The new tie breaking rule has been put in the place by the NTA. There is a seven point arrangement for resolving the tie breaking but if it is not resolved then new independent expert committee will provide guidance and will resolve it through random process

After the seven point arrangement

Syllabus of the exam returned to pre covid era. During the covid 19 Section B was made optional for the students. But now all the questions are compulsory.

The seven points

a. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test, followed by, 

b. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Chemistry in the Test, followed by, 

c. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Physics in the Test, followed by,

d. Candidate with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the Test, 

e. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test, followed by 

f. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry in the Test, followed by 

g. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics in the Test

Can a candidate with mathematics in 10+2 can appear for NEET UG?

Yes you are eligible to appear for the NEET UG If you have PCM subjects

Can an open school students appear for NEET UG 2025?

No the candidates of NIOS school cannot sit for NEET UG

Covid Era 10 pass out rule

While filling up of the online Application Form of NEET (UG) – 2025, when the candidate selects ‘Passing year’ as 2021 with ‘School Board’ as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Sec.), the Result Mode field will be disabled and the associated fields for Marks/CGPA will be invisible for Tamil Nadu State Board candidates who have passed their Class 10 in year 2021.
