KCET Result 2025 releasing date-The exam dates for KCET 2025 is on April 18 and 19. Candidate can apply for the exam till February 21, 2025. The KCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, pharmacy, and other professional programs offered by colleges and universities in Karnataka.

KCET Result
The result is declared after the final answer key. The expected date for Result is First week of May 2025. A rank list is released of the candidates. The result includes the rank of the students along with their scores in each subject. Qualifying status: Whether the candidate qualified for the exam
The rank is determined based on:
Engineering & Architecture Courses:
- Engineering: 50% weightage from KCET marks + 50% from 12th Board PCM scores.
- Architecture: Based on NATA scores and 12th marks.
Medical & Agriculture Courses:
- Medical/Dental: Admission is through NEET, not KCET.
- B.Sc. Agriculture & Other Courses: KCET scores and board exam performance are considered.
KCET 2025: Answer key
The answer key is released after the exam is over on the given date. The answer key is released on the official website of KCET. Students can check and raise objection if any to the authority. After solving the objection a final answer key is released.
How to Download KCET Result 2025?
Candidate will be able to download their result from the official website. They have to adopt following steps in downloading their result
First visit the official website https://dtek.karnataka.gov.in/
Click on the “KCET 2025 Result” link (available on the homepage).
Enter your login details:
- KCET Registration Number
- Date of Birth (DOB)
Click on “Submit” to view your result.
Your KCET score, rank, and subject-wise marks will be displayed.
Click on “Download” or “Print” to save the result for future reference
Counselling
The seats in Karnataka is offered through counselling
There are 16 government colleges in the state and 9 government aided colleges. The private institutes are 147 in the state.
There are IISC,Manipal,NIT and IIIT institutions in the state but they offer admission the basis of National Entrance Test such as JEE Mains and JEE Advanced
