IIT Guwahati is currently accepting applications for PhD programs for the December 2024 session. The application portal opened on October 4, 2024, and will close on October 25, 2024, at 5:00 PM. The selection process will take place between November 25 and December 6, 2024, with new students expected to register by December 31, 2024. Classes for the Winter Semester will begin on January 2, 2025.

Shortlisting:
The Institute reserves the right to consider a limited number of eligible candidates for selection process by setting additional shortlisting criteria based on the performance in GATE/NET/CEED, grades/marks in the qualifying degree examination and/or other educational qualifications starting from Class 10
The results of shortlisting and selection shall be announced on the Application Portal. The applicants may login to the portal and check the results.
IIT Delhi admission in PhD/MS Research
You can apply by 25 October 2024 online only. Financial assistant available for these candidates. The tuition waiver is applicable for SC/ST/PWD students
