SBI Data Scientist Recruitment 2025: Apply for 42 SCO Vacancies by 24 Feb

The State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting applications for Specialist Cadre Officer positions, including Data Scientist roles, with a total of 42 vacancies available.  Interested candidates can apply online from February 1, 2025, to February 24, 2025. The recruitment offers two positions: Manager (Data Scientist) with 13 vacancies and Deputy Manager (Data Scientist) with 29 vacancies. Candidates selected for these roles will be eligible for competitive pay scales and various benefits, including DA, HRA, CCA, and medical facilities

SBI Data Scientist 2025 Who are Eligibility to Apply? 

• B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science / IT /Electronics / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Data Science / AI & ML/ Equivalent degree in above disciplines / M Sc Data Sc /Msc (Statistics)/ MA (Statistics)/M Stat /MCA from AICTE/UGC recognized University/ Institution.
• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in both Graduation / Post Graduation.

SBI Data Scientist 2025 Preferred Qualifications 

• MBA / PGDM with specialization in finance and any certification in ML/ AI/ Natural Language Processing, Web Crawling and Neural Networks. 

SBI Data Scientist 2025 Minimum Required Experience 

• Minimum of 5 years of overall (post basic education qualification) experience in Data Science / AI/ ML Model Development. Including. 
• Minimum 2 Years Full time Experience in the areas of Analytics / AI / Machine Learning / Gen A and 2 + Years full time experience (work/ research) in developing AI/ Machine Learning / Deep Learning/ Gen AI Models. 
• Desirable –  Experience in financial sector /Bank/ NBFC/Insurance/Investment firm.

SBI Data Scientist 2025 Require Skills 

• Experience in implementations of Machine learning/ Artificial Intelligence/Deep Learning solutions.
• Experience on visualisation tools including Power BI/Tableau.
• 2+ Years’ experience with: Programming for data science (R/Python/PySpark). Knowledge of Java and IBM SPSS would be a plus. Relational OR any NoSQL databases including Graph databases.
• End to end Data Science Life Cycle experience from data extraction to modelling and its validation 
• Understanding of each of the below (experience/ certificate preferred) : MLOps and model deployment IBM Cloud pack for data & IBM SPSS , Data Storage and DB2 DWH AutoML and Auto-adaptive machine learning. Data Concepts: Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Lake-house, Data Virtualization/Fabric/Mesh Analyzing large (10 TB+) data sets Advanced Analytics including time series, real-time/streaming analytics, etc. Public cloud-based AI/ML development Gen AI -Development, testing and Deployment (Preferably on Open source models).

SBI Data Science 2025 Salary 

SBI Data Science 2025 Selection Based 

• Selection will be based on Interview Only. 

SBI Data Science 2025 Interview marks weightage 

Interview will carry 100 marks. The Qualifying marks in interview will be decided by the Bank.

SBI Data Science 2025 Merit List 

Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order based on scores obtained in interview only. In case more than one candidate score the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit.

SBI SCO 2025: Call Letter for Interview 

The SBI will release admit card separately for Interview Process. The Intimation / Call Letter for Interview will be sent by Email or Will be Uploaded on Bank’s Website. No Hard Copy will be Sent.
