The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Kerala will announce the Lateral Entry Test (LET) 2025 for admission to B.Tech programs in Kerala. The registration process is scheduled to commence in March 2025. The LET exam enables diploma holders and others to secure admission directly to the second year of B.Tech programs in various engineering colleges across Kerala. Diploma and B.Sc qualified students will be admitted to any branch of B. Tech., subject to having qualified in the respective Lateral Entry Test. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official website. The exam date, syllabus, and other details will be announced soon.

- Only Indian Citizen Can Apply.
- Keralites and Non-Keralites both can apply.
- Communal/ Spec i al/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession.
Kerala B.Tech LET 2025: Educational Qualification
- Candidates who have passed Minimum 3-years / 2 – Years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Examination with at least 45% marks. (40% marks for reserved category) in Any branch of Engineering and Technology or Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC.
- 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject OR Passed 3 – Year D. Voc.

- State Level OMR based Objective Type Entrance Exam
- Exam Duration – 2 hours.
Kerala B.Tech LET Exam 2025: Marking Scheme
- There shall be 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer.
- No Negative Marking for incorrect answers.
- No Negative mark in the valuation of answer scripts of entrance Examination.
Kerala B.Tech LET 2025: Exam Centers
Examination centers will be at Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Thodupuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Sulthan Bathery, Kozhikode, Kannur & Kasaragod. All candidates who have applied successfully can appear for the entrance.

The rank list for admission to the course will be published on the basis of the total marks secured by the candidates for the Entrance Examination. Those who have secured Zero marks will not be included in the rank list.

The Allotment Process will be done through a Single Window System (SWS) of Allotment to give allotments to the various Government/Aided/Cost sharing Colleges under Govt /Private Self Financing Colleges, based on the options submitted online by the candidates who have been included in the rank list For admission to the B.Tech Lateral Entry 2024-25, Kerala.
Kerala B.Tech LET Entry 2025: Allotment Token Fee
Candidates who get allotment in Government / Aided Colleges will have to remit a token fee of Rs. 3,150/- those who get allotment in self financing colleges will have to remit a token fee of Rs. 10000/- as part of tuition fee.
SC/ST/OEC and other candidates having fee concession, w to get allotment, in Government seats shall remit a token amount of Rs 100/- (as part of Caution Deposit).
Kerala B Tech LET 2025: Photograph of Candidates
- Scanned image file should be in jpg format (Jpeg).
- Dimensions of the photograph should be 200 pixels height and 150 pixels width and image file should be between 115 kb and 30 kb file size.
- Photo wearing caps and dark glasses will be rejected.
- The Face of the candidates should be at the center and straight.
