About HP Deled CET 2025 – HP Deled CET is an Entrance exam which conducted by HPBPSE. You have many question related to deled like what is deled? D.EL.ED is a diploma-level course that can be pursued after 12th Class. D.EL.ED. is a two-years course that is focused on child education. D.EL.ED. trains aspirants to teach the students belonging to the primary/upper primary level. The D.EL.ED. syllabus deals with subjects like Childhood and the development of children, Contemporary society, Pedagogy of environmental studies, and many more.

In Himachal Pradesh, Candidates need to qualify an entrance test (Common Entrance Test, CET) to take admission to D.El.Ed. programmes 2025-27. Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education conducts this CET on the behalf of SSA under elementary education department to the government of Himachal Pradesh. The successful candidates shall be called for counselling and seats shall be allotted on merit bases as per their choices.

HP Deled CET 2025: Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate seeking admission to D.El.Ed. course must have passed senior school certificate examination (10+2) from CBSE or its equivalent examination from any other recognized board or university
- Candidates appearing in the 10+2 or its equivalent examination are provisionally admitted and they have to produce original certificate of 10+2 or its equivalent examination at the time of counselling/screening
- Candidate should satisfy his or her eligibility before appearing and shall be personally responsible in case if he or she does not fulfill eligibility criteria.
HP Deled CET 2025: Age Criteria
- The age limit will be between 17 to 32 years as on the date of the conduct of D.El.Ed. CET -2024 for all candidates.
- 5 years relaxation of age in upper limit is allowed for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
- Age Relaxation – 5 % relaxation of marks in the qualifying examination would be given to candidates from reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PHH/EWS

Dear students, if you are planning to become a teacher in school for Pre-Primary and Primary Classes in Government or Private School, you need to complete D.El.Ed Program from any recognized board or university approved by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). There are many institutions, universities and boards which offers these programs such as SCERT, NCERT, NIOS, IGNOU, Jamia Milia Islamia University and many other state and central universities including Deemed to be Universities in India approved by UGC and NCTE.
