FAT Exam 2025 – The fat exam 2025 will be conducted in January 2025. Registration will start on December 3 and will close on December 16. The NBE has released the date for this exam though it is tentative in nature, the date is January 12 2025. Formative Assessment test is conducted for DNB/DrNB/ FNB/ Diploma trainees who are under training. FAT is integral part of the effective teaching. The goal of Formative Assessment is to collect information which can be used to improve the student learning process. It includes various formal and informal assessment procedures by which evaluation of student’s learning, comprehension, and academic progress is done by the teachers/ faculty to improve student attainment.

The assessment scheme consists of Three Parts which has to be essentially completed by the trainees. The scheme includes: –
| Part I | Conduct of Theory Examination | Candidate has to appear for Theory Exam and is held for One day |
| PART – II | Work Place Based Clinical Assessment | After Theory Examination, Candidate has to appear for Clinical Assessment. |
| PART – III | Performance Counselling Session On The Theory Performance | Candidate has to appear for his/her Theory Exam Assessment Workshop. |
Why FAT is important ?
As per NBEMS norms, appearance in minimum required numbers of Formative Assessment Tests is mandatory towards eligibility for appearing in Final Examinations.

FAT 2025: Admit Card
The candidates will download the admit card from the official website of NBE and they have to carry it to appear for theory exam
Admit Card for Work Place Based Clinical Assessment:
It will be sent to the candidates email id provided by these students and they have to carry on identity proof with them
FAT Exam 2025: Result
The result will be declared when the last session of work place based clinic assessment is over. The result will be sent to head of institutions and to the candidates email id provided by them.
