MET 2025 Schedule

Important Dates:

  • Application Start: started for 2025.
  • Exam Dates: Likely in multiple slots between April and May 2025.
  • Result Declaration: Generally within a month after the exam.

The question paper consists of 60 objective-type questions, and the exam is conducted in English. Understanding the exam pattern and structure is essential for candidates to prepare effectively for the exam.

Manipal University’s two campuses made its position in the top 100 Engineering colleges NIRF Ranking 2023. This year the University improved its ranking this year in NIRF 2024 its Karnataka university stands at 56 and Manipal Jaipur stands at 64 while Manipal Karnataka stands at 61 positions and Manipal Jaipur stands at 76 positions in 2023.

The syllabus for MET is designed to assess candidates’ knowledge and aptitude for specific courses. The syllabus may have additional topics or focus on certain areas, depending on the course for which the candidate is appearing. The MET syllabus covers topics from physics, chemistry, and mathematics, which are typically taught in 11th and 12th grade. CounsellingThe candidate has to appear in physical/online counselling and then have to fulfil admission formalities.

Eligibility

Indian Boards’

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject* as optional, from a recognized Board, with a minimum 50 % aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects. Technical vocational subjects must be related to Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Mechanical streams.

Pharma

The candidate must have Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology as their subjects in 10+2 plus 50 percent marks

MBA

  • Qualification: You have qualified with bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized institute to apply.
  • Marks: 50% marks aggregate marks in qualifying marks.
  • Scorecard: MAT/ XAT/ CAT or CMAT will also be eligible to apply

Integrated Courses eligibility

Integrated B.Tech + M.Tech:

  • Duration: 5 years
  • This program allows students to complete their undergraduate degree in B.Tech and continue with a postgraduate specialization in M.Tech.
  • Eligibility: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects, along with either Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a technical vocational subject.

Integrated BBA + MBA:

  • Duration: 5 years
  • Overview: Students earn both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. This is ideal for those who want a fast-tracked route to an advanced business degree.
  • Eligibility: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate percentage (usually 50%, but confirm on the official site).

Integrated B.Sc. + M.Sc. Programs:

  • Duration: 5 years
  • Overview: These programs allow students to earn both a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in various specializations such as Biotechnology, Mathematics, Physics, etc.
  • Eligibility: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination with relevant subjects based on the chosen field of study (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology for most science courses).

 Integrated B.Pharm + M.Pharm:

  • Duration: 5 years
  • Overview: This program combines undergraduate and postgraduate studies in pharmacy, providing students with a B.Pharm degree followed by a specialized M.Pharm degree.
  • Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology along with English as a compulsory subject.
