NIMI YouTube Channel: A New Initiative for ITI Students
The National Instructional Media Institute (NIMI), under the Directorate General of Training (DGT) and Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), has launched a series of YouTube channels. This digital platform offers vocational education through high-quality training videos, making learning more accessible for students across India’s Industrial Training Institute (ITI) skill ecosystem.
Learning in Local Languages for Better Understanding
Teaching in regional languages has proven to be effective. The NIMI YouTube channel provides content in nine languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada. These channels allow students to watch tutorials that showcase tools and machinery in use and explain how to fix issues with various machines.

The NIMI YouTube channels are designed to help ITI students enhance their technical skills. The tutorials and skill demonstrations are curated by industry experts to ensure relevance in sectors like manufacturing, electronics, and IT. Key features include:
