Will NEET UG exam be held Again?-A four meme panel was constituted by the Union Ministry of Education to revisit the results of over 1500 students who were given grace marks as compensation for loss of time during the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) for admissions to undergraduate medical courses, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced.
The NTA on its notice on June 6 tried to clear the case and formed one committee to look into the matter. The committee had accepted that there was loss of time as confirmed by the committee and such candidates were compensated with marks based on their answering efficiency and time lost, as per the mechanism/ formula established by the Hon’ble Apex Court, vide its judgment dated 13.06.2018 in W.P. 551 of 2018.
In another incident where a sought to know why there were two correct answer for a question. Delhi High Court where the petition filed by one of candidate. The Court also sought to know from NTA.
