WBJEE 2024 college and course wise eligibility criteria. The exam date announced, it will be organized on 28 April 2024. The application form will open soon. There are numerous colleges that have their separate eligibility requirement besides WBJEE rank. We have mentioned them individually.
There are two types of merit rank is prepared. One for Engineering/Technology and Pharmacy courses known as GMR and PMR.

It is important for the candidates to read the eligibility criteria of these colleges before applying to the WBJEE 2024
General Merit Rank
A sequence of General Rank (GMR) will be prepared based on the total score obtained in Paper-I and Paper-II put together.
Ranking shall be done in descending order of total marks scored in all the subjects.
Separate reserved category merit positions will also be indicated for the respective category of students e.g., SC Rank, ST rank, OBC A rank, OBC B Rank, PWD Rank, TFW rank
Admission to all Engineering/Technology/Architecture courses and to the pharmacy courses in Jadavpur University will be on the basis of GMR
Sequencing orders for counselling/allotment of seats/admission will be based on GMR only (not on category ranks) category ranks are for information only to candidates of the respective category
Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR)
This Pharmacy merit rank will be based on the score in Paper II only i.e., Physics and Chemistry.
Ranking will be done on descending order of marks scored in Paper II
Separate reserved category merit positions will also be indicated for the respective categories of students e.g., SC Rank, ST rank, OBC A rank, OBC B Rank, PWD Rank, TFW rank
Category ranks are generated based on the category information given by the candidates during online application but documents will be verified by the allotted institutes during counselling.
Course-wise Eligibility Criteria Engineering and Technology
10+2 with physics and mathematics along with any of these subjects Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer science/Computer Application/Technical Vocational subjects as compulsory subjects with passing marks in both theory and practical
Percentage-45 % for the general category,40% for the Reserved category
English subject is necessary and has passed in 12 exams with at least 30% marks
Eligibility for Pharmacy Courses
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks in both theory and practical/project in all three subjects
Percentage-have obtained 45% marks for the General category and 40% for the reserved category
Passed English subject with at least 30 per cent marks
Architecture Eligibility
This is according to the norms and standards of COA(council of Architecture), the candidate has passed 10+2 with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together with individual pass marks and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination.
NATA exam must be qualified.
Marine Engineering Qualification
As per the norms and standards of the Director General of Shipping Government of India candidate has passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60 per cent marks with individual marks in theory and practical/project wherever applicable
50 % marks in English subjects either in 10 or 10+2

10+2 with PCM and have secured 60 % marks and for the reserved category, it is 55 % marks. English subject with 30 per cent marks
Jute and Fibre Technology
10+2 or equivalent exam and subjects Physics, mathematics and chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as compulsory subjects with at least 60 % marks 55% for reserved category
Jadavpur University for Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 60 per cent marks. 55 per cent for reserved category. Candidates have individual pass marks in both theory and practical
Architecture Courses
NATA score.
10+2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics with 50 % marks. 37% for reserved category students
West Bengal University of Animal and Fisheries Science(B.Tech Dairy Technology) and Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswa Vidyalaya (B.Tech Agriculture Engineering)
Subjects-10+2 with PCM and have secured 50 % marks. For Reserved category students it si 40%
