- For OBC or SC/ST Category: Minimum age – 18 years, Maximum age – 40 years
- For the PWD Category: Minimum age – 18 years, Maximum age – 50 years
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- . Candidates are generally required to have completed their higher secondary education (12th grade) from a recognized board or equivalent.
- With minimum Qualifying marks of 50% marks in Graduation in subjects like English, Mathematics and Social Studies.
- Candidates must have completed their graduation degree in Science/Arts/ Commerce stream.

- UP D.El Ed Admission is based on Merit.
- The UP D.El. Ed merit list will be made based on the students’ marks in the 10th, 12th, and graduation.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling process. Where candidates have to select colleges according to their seats
