UP Abhyudya Free Coaching Scheme. The UP Abhyudya Free Coaching Scheme is a government initiative aimed at providing free coaching to students preparing for competitive government exams. The scheme was launched in 2021 with the objective of providing quality guidance and teaching to all aspirants coming from diverse backgrounds, including rural areas and poor families. The main goal of the scheme is to provide free coaching to students preparing for competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, IAS, IPS, PCS, CDS, NDA, and others, thereby making competitive education accessible to poor and financially weak students. Under the Abhyudya scheme, free coaching centres for the preparation of competitive government exams are provided by the UP government.

The scheme has also helped to increase the number of students from underprivileged backgrounds who are able to compete in government exams and secure jobs in the public sector. By providing free coaching to students preparing for competitive exams, the scheme has contributed to the overall development of the state by producing a skilled and competent workforce.

Centre in each District
How the government will manage this? As per the official statement, the scheme will be implemented on a divisional level first and then will advance to the district level. Then the Free-of-cost coaching centres will be opened in each district and will function under the auspices of respective Mandalayukta at each divisional headquarter of the state.
There will be separate classes conducted for each entrance exam so that students can focus solely on their subjects. All the lectures conducted for the students will be available online, along with the study material, to help the students revise their subjects. There will be scheme will be implemented on the divisional level first and then it will be spread to the district level. These centres will provide free coaching to underprivileged students who register

Coaching to benefit 50,000 students

The government of Uttar Pradesh shared some data regarding the launch and effectiveness of the UP Abhyudaya scheme in the state, where it was stated that over 50,000 students will be able to seek free coaching in the first phase of the launch of the scheme.

The idea for the UP Abhyudaya scheme was put forward by the Uttar Pradesh government when several students preparing for competitive exams were stuck in Kota and were unable to return to their hometowns amid the Covid-19 lockdown.

These classes will be providing students with coaching classes similar to those in Kota, Rajasthan, or Allahabad so that students will not have to migrate to other cities and states for the sake of studies, said CM Yogi Adityanath.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the UP Abhyudya Free Coaching Scheme, applicants must be studying for a specific competitive exam, and those who have passed the preliminary exam are also eligible. All male and female applicants are welcome to apply. The scheme offers both physical and virtual coaching options, making it accessible to students from all over the state. Applicants can apply for online classes by selecting the examination, filling up the form, and verifying their details
