Vacancy Details
The UKPSC has announced a total of 14 vacancies for the post of Principal in polytechnic colleges. The vacancies are distributed among different categories, including unreserved, SC, ST, and OBC.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the post of Principal, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications
- The Candidate must have a bachelor degree in engineering/ Technology or a Master’s degree.
- First Class in Graduate degree and Masters Degree level.
- Candidate must be served minimum 2 years in the territorial Army. OR
- Candidates must have B and C Certificate of national Cadet Corps (NCC).
- Experience – 20 years Experience in Teaching/ Research/ Industries.
- Age Criteria
- Age: The candidate must be at least 35 years old and not more than 50 years old.
- Age relaxation is available according to reservation categories.
Who is Eligible to Apply for UKPSC Polytechnic Principle Recruitment 2025 according to Marital Status?
- No male candidates who has more than one wife living shall be not eligible to apply.
- No female candidates who has married a man who already has a wife living shall be eligible for appointment to any Post in the service.
- But if there is a solid reason behind doing so, then candidates can be exempted from this restriction.
