UGC NET Exam 2024 Cancelled, Education Ministry says integrity of exam might have been compromised

UGC NET Exam 2024 June Session exam cancelled. The report came to the education ministry regarding the integrity of the exam. So it was decided to cancel the exam. Who benefits from all this. The middle men for sake of earning the few lakh rupees they play all this game.

Why UGC NET Exam 2024 Cancelled?

Coming back to UGC NET what is the lost and who has suffered?

Whenever this sort of incidence happens the aspirant loses their time, money and their belief in the system.

Teacher is the beacon in the society and this exam is for Assistant professorship and for PhD.

UGC NET 2024 June session was conducted in a single day in paper and pen mode and at least 9 lakh aspirant appeared . Earlier the UGC NET used to be conducted in multiple days and multiple shifts. The paper leak happened after the government introduced the anti paper Leak Law which was passed in February this year 2024. The law reads the three to five years in prison and rupees ten lakh fine for those who resort to unfair means and offences.

Cancelling the exam came as a surprise to senior officials of NTA. The news came from the Education Ministry

National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts UGC-NET on behalf of the UGC.

NTA officials who spoke to The Indian Express said this year the decision to hold both CUET-UG (albeit partially) and UGC-NET June 2024 in pen-and-paper format was taken to help choose more examination centres in rural areas.

Above all if it is really passible without the help of people sitting inside the system. Recently we experience the NEET UG grace marks controversy where 67 students were toppers. When it was uncovered it was found that there was some misconduct,  Though the NTA denied the earlier report but when the enquiry was set up by NTA and interference of Supreme Court it was decided that the NEET UG exam will be conducted again for 1563 candidates who had equal marks.

Now the report came from Bihar where 9 students claimed that NEET UG paper was leaked before it was conducted.

The paper leak incidence started from UP Police was leaked after the precautionary measure was taken by the government. The reports started emerging in later part of day that UPPRPB exam leaked and shared on the social media. The government had to cancel this exam. Though the report were there ARO exam was also compromised.

Delhi is not far from UP, the NEET UG controversy emerged and now UGC NET.
