UGC NET 2023 Admit Card – UGC NET 2024 Admit card has been released. The examination period has started from 6 December 2024 and will continue till 14 December 2023. The admit card contains the details as your name,application number,Exam venue,Date of Exam,Timing of exam,photograph,signature,Category and subjects.Reporting Time at exam venue.
The exam notification for December 23 was released on 1 November 23. UGC NET also known as NTA-UGC-NET, is a national-level test conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency) on behalf of UGC (University Grants Commission). It is held twice every year – in June and December. NET serves as a gateway for students aspiring to become Lecturer, Assistant Professors, or JRF (Junior Research Fellows) in India’s government-recognized colleges and universities.

Opportunities
The candidates can get jobs as a lecturer,Associate professor and Assistant professor in both government and private university and college.
You can judge it by the fact that these days the university and college prefer the candidate with PhD degree over any other candidates with Post Graduate degree.
Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET
Although the eligibility criteria for the applicants of lectureship slightly differ from that of JRF, the candidates must fulfil the following conditions for either of the two positions:
The candidate should have completed a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (general category)/ 50% marks (reserved category) from a UGC-approved institute or university. The candidate must have pursued a master’s in any of the subjects mentioned on the official website of UGC NET.
Students in the final year of their master’s degree are also eligible to apply. However, they need to complete their degree within two years of the UGC NET result announcement.
There is no maximum age limit for the post of assistant professor, but the candidates cannot apply for JRF if they exceed the age of 30. In the case of women, transgenders, and reserved categories, an age relaxation of five years is provided.
