TS ECET 2024 Exam Date released

TS ECET 2024 Exam Date- The registration process started today 15 February and will close on 16 April 2024. Entrance Exam is going to be held on 6 May 2024. Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test is a state-level examination. The exam is conducted once a year by the Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE. Students must check the TS ECET 2024 eligibility criteria before filling out the online application form. TS ECET 2022 entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode.

Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders of Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy and for B.Sc.(Mathematics) Degree Holders. This test is known as  TS ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)-  is being conducted by JNT University Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for the academic year 2024-2025

TS ECET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can read all the eligibility requirements below:

General Criteria

Nationality: The candidate should be an Indian Citizen.

Domicile: The candidate should be a resident of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh. Candidate must satisfy all local and non-local status requirements as specified. 

TS ECET 2024 Exam Date Released

Age Criteria

Candidate should be a minimum of 18 years of age. There is no upper age limit specified.

Education Qualification

Candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering/Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh or any other Diploma relevant for admission in B.E. / B. Tech./ B. Pharmacy Courses.

OR  

Candidates must have passed the 3-year B.Sc. Degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the group combination from a recognized University in the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh state or its equivalent for entry into relevant courses.

Candidates who are pursuing a Diploma under a sandwich pattern shall be eligible for B.E./B.Tech./B. Pharmacy courses provided they must ensure that their practical training is finished by the date of counselling.

Candidates should have passed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy/ B.Sc (Mathematics) Degree with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) for admission into relevant courses.

Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: The exam is online CBT mode only.
• Duration: Three hours to solve the paper.
• Total Marks: Total 200 marks.
• Type of Questions: Multiple-choice type questions (MCQs)
• Medium of Exam: English language.
• Shift: A total of two shifts will be there morning and afternoon.
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the exam.

The qualifying marks in TS ECET [FDH & BSc(Mathematics)] are 25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects [Three subjects for BSc (Mathematics)

What are the seats in TS ECET?

The allocation process resulted in the assignment of 9,680 seats in the engineering domain and 74 seats in pharmacy.

The first batch of allotments, there remain 2,092 engineering seats and 1,129 pharmacy seats available for the subsequent rounds
