TNEA 2024 DOTE (Department of Technical Education) has been released a notification for the TNEA 2024 registration process on May 6, 2024. And registration process had been also started on May 06, 2024 candidates can apply for this application till June 06, 2024. The TNEA registration process will conduct for admission into government engineering Colleges and Universities with relevant field. Candidate can register yourself at portal form using required information. The Authority will be announced the TNEA rank list 2024 based on their Class +2 (12^th class) marks in online mode. Eligible and Interested candidates can apply up till June 06, 2024.

TNEA 2024 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• TamilNadu candidates who have passed VIII, IX, X, XI and XII standard from schools situated in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. They need not produce Nativity Certificate for verification.
• TamilNadu native candidates who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. or their equivalent examination from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply.

(NOTE: They should produce Original Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate.)

• Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in TamilNadu are eligible to apply. They need not produce ― Nativity Certificate.

TNEA 2024 MARKS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

1. A pass in the HSC (Academic: both +1 and +2) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage as given below.

• pass in any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject: both +1 and +2) as given below with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with a minimum average percentage put together as given below.

• Maximum age limit 25-years.

TNEA 2024 SELECTION PROCESS:

1. The selection of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the prescribed subjects reduced to 200  in the qualifying examination.
2. Mathematics – 100
3.  Physics – 50
4. Chemistry – 50
5. In the case of candidates who have qualified from National Boards namely CBSE and ISCE, the highest mark obtained in the relevant subject by the candidates at the National Level alone will be taken into consideration for Normalization.

TNEA 2024 HOW TO APPLY

1. Open your search engine and visit on the official website of TNEA i.e.  www.tneaonline.org.
2. Now click on “Click here for B.E/ B.Tech. Registration”.
3. Registered yourself at TNEA Portal.
4. Registration – The Registration consists of information to be provided under following heads: Name, Mobile Number, e-mail ID, Date of birth, whether +1 Passed, Qualifying Examination, Password (self-created) and Confirm Password. After successfully entering the above data click the save and proceed (Name and educational detail must be same as 10^th and +2^nd year marksheet).
5. You will get the OTP in your mobile as well as in your email. Enter the “OTP” at the space provided in the above screen and press the “Submit” button.
6. Now login to TNEA web page by entering login ID /email ID with password. New registration window will open front of you.
7. Enter all required details correctly and press the “Save & Continue” button.
8. Then Special Reservation Details should be filled and press “Save & Continue”.
9. Eligible candidate can enter the required Scholarship information, for tuition fee concession. If the candidate wishes to avail education loan, then he/she can select the corresponding option. After completely entered the required details press “Save &Continue” button.
10. In the next stage you can enter complete details about Govt. School and applied for NEET/JEE. After completely entering the required details press “Save & Continue “ button.
11. Now press the “Save & Continue” button to save information.
12. It shows the preview of the application information in various tabs. Carefully verify the details that shown and candidate could modify if any changes required by pressing “Back” button.
13. Next it shows the payment page for registration fee. Once the payment is made, the candidate cannot modify their information. (Pay Application fee)
14. Upload all the necessary scan documents.
15. If Form is completely filled its necessary to Download and Save application form.
