The Government of Tamil Nadu has started registration process for TN M. Physiotherapy (M. P. T.) exam 2024 from August 12, 2024. The Exam will be conducted for admission into Master of Physiotherapy (M.P.T) course in Tamil Nadu Government Medical Colleges and Government seats in self financing institution affiliated to the Tamil Nadu. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for application till August 25, 2024. Candidates can download application form till August 25, 2024.

- Those who have studied from 11th standard onwards and undergraduate B.P.T in Tamil Nadu should upload the nativity certificate.

TN M. Physiotherapy (M.P.T.) 2024 Merit List
The Merit List will be drawn for a Total Mark of 100 by computing the Entrance Examination Marks and the marks for experience. (90 marks for entrance examination + 10 marks for experience including marks for hilly areas).
TN M. Physiotherapy 2024 Marking Scheme:
- There will be Total 100 marks. In which academic marks for 90 and Experience marks for 10.
- Experience – One mark for each completed year of experience as on 31.07.2024 which is calculated from the last date of the month of passing B.Sc (Nursing) Degree Examination, subject to a maximum of 10 marks shall be awarded as experience mark for both Service. Or
- Two marks is warded to each year of Government service in hily areas & it will be awarded to a maximum 10 marks.
- NonService candidates Negative marking – there will be no negative marking for incorrect answer.
TN M. Physiotherapy 2024 Inter-Se- Merit:
- Least number of appearances in the final Semester / final year of B.P.T. Examination.
- Total marks obtained in the final Semester / final year Examination of B.P.T. course.
- Seniority in age
TN M. Physiotherapy 2024 Counselling:
Selection will be based on merit and merit list will be prepared on the basis of Previous academic criteria. Candidates who are eligible and shortlisted only those called for counselling process.
Tamil Nadu M. Physiotherapy (M.P.T) 2024 Counselling
Counselling schedule will be posted on official website. Counselling process will be held for those candidates who had qualified exam. The candidates have to register and choice lock their choice of preferences in the online Counselling and they may exercise their option as per their eligibility norms mentioned in the information Boucher.

Salary/ Stipend/ Security Amount:
- Non service candidates selected and allotted M. Physiotherapy (M.P.T) course in Government Institutions shall receive stipend as per Government orders in force.
- All Service candidates of Tamil Nadu shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five lakhs only) as security amount with the undertaking that they will serve the Government of Tamil Nadu till superannuation.
HEPATITIES – B Vaccination:
All the Selected candidates for admission to M.P.T course for 2024-2025 session should take Hepatitis – B vaccine and submit a medical certificate from an authorized Medical Officer as proof thereof, to the Head of the Institution at the time of joining. Admission to any Post Graduate course will not be allowed by the Heads of Institutions without the medical certificate. The candidate should take further doses at the prescribed intervals as required.
