SSC Stenographer Group C and D 2024 Notification
SSC Stenographer Eligibility:
- The candidate must be either: a citizen of India, OR
- the subject of Nepal, OR
- a subject of Bhutan, OR
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st of January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- The Candidates must have passed out 12th /Equivalent from a recognized Board or from a university.
SSC Stenographer Salary:
- Group ‘C’- Rs. 9,300- Rs. 34,800
- Group-‘D’- Rs. 5,200 – Rs. 20,200
- Allowances Included for the SSC Stenographer Salary in 2024 is House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dreams Allowance (DA), Transport Allowance (TA).
SSC Stenographer Selection Process:
- Tier-I: Objective Type Question (Multiple Choice Question)

SSC Stenographer EXAM PATTERN:
The SSC Stenographer Grade “C” & “D” Examination, 2024, will follow a computer-based exam pattern, which includes multiple-choice questions. The exam will be conducted in two stages, with the first stage consisting of a computer-based test and the second stage comprising a skill test.
