SAT Registration 2024– The registration last date is May 16 and exam will be conducted on June 1 2024. SAT is conducted to offer admission for UG courses in USA and Canada. The SAT test is a pencil paper test to evaluate the written,verbal and Mathematical skill.
It is important to note that last year college board had scrapped earlier format and introduced a new version, this is now known as SAT Digital Exam.

SAT Registration 2024 Overview
SAT entrance test is of two hours and fourteen minutes and it is divided into two section. Reading and Writing and Mathematics. Before digital SAT,reading and writing were two section but now these two parts are combined and are scored together.
Negative Marking-There is no negative marking for wrong and un-attempted questions on SAT exams.
Why to appear SAT Registration 2024
The best thing about SAT 2024 is that through SAT score the students can enroll in UG programmes in US as colleges in the US require SAT score for admission
Though some universities or colleges become test optional or donot accept
SAT score for UG admission.
But these universities still accept SAT scores from international students, can look at the pros of appearing for SAT and submitting its scores for admission:
- MCQ-based exam that tests students’ knowledge of English and Math subjects. There are some questions in the Math section which may require students to produce an answer without having MCQ-type options as well.
- The duration of the test only 2 hours and 14 minutes long.
- Scholarship is also offered on the basis of SAT results and scores.
Students have multiple opportunities to appear for the SAT around the year as many times as they wish to, to improve their scores and even perform better each time.
- In comparison to the ACT, questions tested on the SAT have 43% more time for
answering and there is no negative marking for unanswered or wrong answers.
One of the advantage is that SAT is now digital and has minimized the timing of the test. During ACT time which is still a pencil paper based test and is little longer in duration in comparison to SAT.
There is no separate Science section SAT to test key concepts. Science is tested only through reading passages on the SAT Digital exam.
