RRB Technician 2024 Notification Out Check Schedule, Exam Date, Selection Process

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the recruitment of 9144 RRB Technician for Indian Railways. In a recent update, RRB has informed candidates that those with errors in their photograph or signature can correct these issues by uploading new photographs and signatures from June 3 to June 6, 2024.

RRB has been released a notification for Post RRB Technician Grade-I Signal and Technician Grade-III 2024. The notification for this post has been released by the railway in the newspapers. The application process has been started on 9 March 2024. The notification is released for the recruitment of 9,144 technicians which is tentative.

1. Technician Grade-I signal – 1092 Vacancies
2. Technician Grade-III – 8052 Vacancies

RRB Technician Eligibility 2024

The candidates who want to apply for Technician must have passed the Matriculation exam, and he or she holds an ITI Trade certificate from NCVT/SCVT in the respective discipline, or the applicant must have pursued a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, one age must not be below 18 and above 28 years.

Age Criteria:

RRB Technician Application Fee 2024

General/EWS/OBC-Rs.500

SC/ST/other Reserved Category-Rs.250.

RRB Technician Exam Date 2024

The exam date will be updated by the RRB when the notification regarding this is released online. It is expected that the tentative dates are April to June, the exam will be held in online mode through Computer Based Test  (CBT) at various examination centres across the country with a time duration of 1 hour.

Medical Test

Technician Grade-I Signal – 18-years to 33-years

Technician Grade-III – 18-years to 30-years.

The candidates must be medically fit for this job and those who are found medically unfit will not be considered for this post.

Age Relaxation:

SC/ ST Candidates – 5-Years

OBC (Non-Creamy layer) candidates – 3-Years

EXAM PATTERN:

1. Total Duration – 90 min & total Number of Questions – 100
2. There will be 1/3rd negative marking for each wrong answer.

MINIMUM QUALIFYING MARKS:

1. UR & EWS – 40%
2. OBC (NCL) – 30%
3. SC – 30%
4. ST – 25%

English, Hindi and 13 regional Indian languages Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
