RIMC Admission 2026 Notification: Apply for Class 8 Admission in Dehradun by March 31

Rashtriya Indian Military College has released the notification for the qualifying examination which is to be held on June 01, 2025 for the academic session January 2026. This examination is for the admission of students (Boys and Girls) to class VIII. The Selection will be based on Written Test and Viva-Voce tests. The Written examination will consist of three papers viz. English, Mathematics and General Knowledge.  The medium of Examination will be English or Hindi for the subjects Mathematics, General Knowledge.

Students can download prospectus –cum- application form and booklet of old question papers by Paying Require Fee. Prospectus and Old Questions Paper Can be obtained through speed post from “The Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Garhi Cantt., Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Pin 248003 by sending a written request with a Demand Draft to the Value of Rs.600/- for General candidates and Rs.555/- for SC/ST candidates along with Community Certificate, drawn in favour of “THE COMMANDANT, RIMC FUND”, DRAWEE BRANCH, HDFC BANK, BALLUPUR CHOWK, DEHRADUN (BANK CODE -1399) UTTARAKHAND.

RIMC Admission 2026: Point To Be Noted 

• The address of “ THE COMMANDANT, RASHTRIYA INDIAN MILITARY COLLEGE, GARHI CANTT., DEHRADUN, UTTARAKHAND, PIN 248 003” should be typed / written clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS with pincode and contact number.
• The application forms issued by Rashtriya Indian Military College only shall be valid. Application form locally printed / Photo copied and without RIMC Hologram (Seal) will be rejected.
• No refund of the application fee will be done under any condition.

RIMC Admission 2026: Eligibility Criteria 

• Age of the candidate should not be less than 11 ½ years and should not have attained the age of 13 years as on July 01, 2026.
• The candidate may have passed or studying in class VII from recognized school at the time of admission i.e. on July 01, 2026.

whose parents or guardians RESIDE IN TAMIL NADU should reach the Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC Road, Park Town, Chennai-600 003 not later than 5.45 P.M. on March 31, 2025.
