WB PUMDET Answer key 2024: Check Steps to Download Response Sheet

The WBJEEB has released Answer Key for PUMDET on 19 July, 2024. Candidates can download their Answer key from the official website they can challenges on answer key within 2 days after releasing answer key. If Candidate who is not satisfied with the captured responses may challenge online on payment of ₹500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) per question + Bank charges.

The west Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will conduct OMR Based entrance test (PUMDET – 2024) and Counselling for admission to various postgraduate (M.A./ M.Sc.) Courses in Presidency University for the academic session 2024-25.

WB PUMDET Answer Key 2024 Important Dates

EXAM PATTERN:

• There will be 4-Options in each question.
•  Only one option is correct.
• There will be total number of Questions – 50 Questions out of 100 Marks.
• Duration of Exam – 90 minutes.
•  Correct response will yield 2 (two) marks.
•  Incorrect response will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks.
•  For any combination of response with more than one option, even if it contains the correct option, the answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks.
•  Zero mark will be awarded for not attempting any question.

Step-2: At homepage looking for the WB PUMDET answer key.

Step-3: Click on the answer key link.

Step-4: Download Answer key PDF and compare your answer.

HOW TO CHALLENGES ON  WB PUMDET ANSWER KEY:

Step-1: Open your search engine and visit on the official website i.e. https://wbjeeb.in/pumdet/

Step-2: Ensure you have the official answer key published by WB PUMDET. Compare it with your responses to identify the questions you wish to challenge.

Step-3: For each question you wish to challenge, you need to gather supporting evidence. This can include references from textbooks, scientific articles, or any other credible sources that justify your claim.

Step-4: Use your credentials to log in to the official WB PUMDET portal where you registered for the exam. There will usually be an option to challenge the answer key.

Step-5:  Enter the details of each question you are challenging, along with your justification and supporting documents. Ensure that all information is accurate.

Step-6: There is typically a fee for challenging each question. Make sure to pay the fee as per the instructions provided on the portal. Challenges without the requisite fee may not be considered.

Step-7: After submitting your challenges, you should receive a confirmation.

Step-8: Save and Print this submission for future reference.

Step-8: The board will review the challenges and make a final decision. The revised answer key will be published if any changes are warranted.

DECLARATION OF WB PUMDET ANSWER KEY:

1. Model Answer Keys will be available for a brief period at Board’s web site shortly after the examination. Candidates can log in and view the model answer keys.
2.  Candidates can also challenge any answer key on payment of ₹500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) per question plus the bank’s service charges, if any. The fee once paid is not refundable.
3.  The Board will review the challenges and publish Final and Frozen Answer Keys. The Board’s decision in this regard will be final and no further communication will be entertained.
4.  Images of OMRs and machine read responses will be available for a brief period in Board’s web site one week (tentatively) after the examination. Any candidate can view the images of his/her OMR and machine read responses by logging in with his/her password. Candidates should download and preserve copy of their OMR. However, the duration of preservation of record (s)/ document (s)/ information has been notified and available in the Board’s website.
5.  Any candidate, who is not satisfied with the captured responses may challenge online on payment of ₹500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) per question plus bank’s service charges, if any.
6. The Board will review the challenges and take final decision. The Board’s decision on the challenges will be final and no further communication will be entertained.
7. Challenges by email, letter, fax, telephone etc. other than through online mode will not be accepted or entertained.
8. Result will be published in the form of Rank Card, which will contain all relevant rank(s) and score. Candidates can view and download their rank card by logging in with their password. The Board never publishes a rank/score list to ensure confidentiality to each individual candidate.
9. Rank card with score will be issued to all candidates, who appears in the PUMDET-2024. But all may not be awarded a rank and hence may not be eligible for counseling, for which a cut off rank and/or a cut off score will be decided by the board.
