The PM YASASVI Scholarship Award Scheme YET for Vibrant India the entrance exam is held in September. Applications for the scholarship examination are now open and will close on the extended date of July.
MSJ&E of the Govt. of India, has formulated a scheme known as the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI) for the award of scholarships to Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC) and Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes De-notified Tribe(DNT) students, annual income of whose parents/guardian is not more than Rs. 2.5 lakhs, studying in identified Schools. NTA conducts this entrance exam.

The YET will be conducted for the award of scholarships to OBC, EBS and DNT candidates studying in Class 9 and Class 11 in identified Top Schools. Mode of Examination YET in paper and pen mode (OMR)

If you are in Class 9 or 11 and qualify for a YASASVI scholarship, you must appear for either the YET or the YASASVI Entrance Test.
In order to be eligible for this program, students must have passed Class 8 or Class 10 and be from the Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), or Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribe De-notified Tribe (DNT)

Qualifying Marks
A candidate will be declared to have qualified for the exam if he/she secures a minimum of 35% marks in the written test.
The National Testing Agency will be conducting an entrance examination for the PM YASASVI Scholarship Scheme 2022. This scholarship scheme will provide candidates with the opportunity to continue their education in India.
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The applicant must be a citizen of India.
- They should be belonging to OBC or EBC or DNT category.
- They should be studying in identified Top Class Schools.
- They should have passed Class 8 or Class 10 (as the case may be)
- The annual income of the parents/guardian from all sources should not be more than
Rs. 2.5 lacs
Age
- Candidates applying for the Class 9 Exam should have been born between 01.04.2007 to
31.03.2011 (both days inclusive). - Candidates applying for the Class 11 Exam should have been born between 01.04.2005 to
31.03.2009
The PM YASASVI Scholarship Scheme offers the following monetary benefits:
– Class 9 students receive a grant of Rs 75,000 per year
– Class 11 students receive a grant of Rs 1,25,000 per year.

NCERT Syllabus of Class 8th for admission in Class 9th and NCERT Syllabus of Class 10th for admission in Class 11th.
Steps to fill out the Application form
Step 1. Register for Online submission of the form using your own Email ID and date of birth and note down system generated Application Number
2. Complete the Online Application Form and note down the system generated
Application Number. Upload legible scanned images of:
(i) A recent photograph (in jpg/ jpeg file, size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in
colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible
including ears against a white background;
(ii) Candidate’s signature (in jpg/ jpeg file size: 4kb – 30kb);
(iii) Category Certificate (in PDF file size: 50kb – 300kb);
(iv) Income Certificate and (in PDF file size: 50kb – 300kb);
(v) Aadhar card (in Pdf file size 50 kb-300 kb)
(vi) PwD Certificate (in PDF file size 50 kb-300 kb), if applicable.
Both Steps can be done together or in separate sittings
Items to be carried during Examination
i. Admit card downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly
filled in.
ii. A simple transparent Blue/Black Ball Point Pen.
iii. 02 Additional passport-size photographs, to be pasted on the Admit Card and
Attendance Sheet.
