The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and research(PGIMER), Chandigarh has announced a recruitment drive for 121 assistant professor posts and application on prescribed form from Indian Citizens for 121 vacant posts of Assistant Professors through direct recruitment on regular basis in different specialities for PGIMER. The interested candidates can apply for this application after log on to the institute website i.e. www.pgimer.edu.in till July 10, 2024.

- Department of Urology – Post Graduation degree + (1-year Experience).
- Other Departments – Post graduation degree in MD/ DM in relevant subjects + (3-Year Experience) Excluded Department of Urology

SELECTION PROCESS:
- Candidates who successfully completed Application form they will be called for personal interview before the standing selection committee of the Institute.
- Interview letter will be sent by post/through Email ID.
- The candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor would also be required to make a presentation on his/her work/achievements before the selection committee for a duration not exceeding 05 minutes.
- Personal Interview with selection committee is mandatory.
- The selected candidates will be issued appointment letters.

- Essential qualifications and experience(s)
- No Objection Certificate (if in regular employment in any Govt./Semi Govt./Government Enterprises/Government funded autonomous Institutions.
