Bachelor’s degree in any subject and have secured 50 percent marks in aggregate from a recognized university

AMIE Examination with 50 percent marks or more after having passed the diploma exam with 60 percent marks or above and have at least 5 years research/teaching or professional experience

Candidate with modern indian languages(Hindi/English/Urdu/Punjabi or in a classical language(Sanskrit/Persian/Arabic) or degree of any other University obtained in the same manner recognized by the Syndicate and have secured 50 percent marks in the aggregate
