OUAT Application

OUAT Application – OUAT 2020 Orissa University Agriculture and Technology application Form- B for UG courses is starting from 15th September 2020.

 For PG courses it has been extended till 30th September 2020. The exam for UG has been announced. The examination is conducted by the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology.

This entrance test is a university-level entrance organized every year for providing admission in various UG, PG, PhD and other courses. Students will get admission in the fields of Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary science and animal husbandry, agriculture engineering, etc. Only the candidates who will successfully qualify for this entrance test will get admission to the University and its affiliated colleges.

Note-: For the Candidates who have submitted online application form-A, it is advisable for them to submit online application form B between 15-09-2020 to 30-09-2020.

The details of the procedure of submitting the application form B are in Annexure II of UG prospectus 2020-21.

Appearing the Common Entrance Examination(CEE) and submission of Form-B is mandatory for admission into the UG Programme

BSc (Ag), BSc (Forestry), BSc (Horticulture), B.Tech (Agriculture Eng.), BFSC, B.Sc (Home Science).

For PG Courses:

MSc (Maths), MSc (Chemistry), MSc (Botany), MSc (Physics), MSc (Zoology), MSc (Biotechnology), PhD courses.

Important Dates for OUAT Application 2020 Exam

For PG Admission

Application Fee:

Rs. 1400/- as application fees.

Mode of payment: The application fee of OUAT 2020 can be paid online using net banking, a debit card, or the credit card of any bank.

OUAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility:

·         Nationality: Indian nationals who have a domicile of Orissa state can apply.

·         Age Criteria: Candidates applying for UG admission must have completed 17 years of age 31/12/2020.

B.Sc. (Hons)/ Agriculture/Forestry/ Horticulture:

·         Qualifying Exam: Candidates have passed 10+2 with science from a recognized board or university.

·         Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates in 10+2 must be passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (for SC/ST/PWD – 40%).

·         Qualifying Subjects: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology subjects.

B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering):

·         Qualifying Exam: Candidates have passed the 10+2 level from a recognized board.

·         Qualifying Marks: Candidates have obtained 50% marks (for SC/ST/PWD – 40%).

·         Qualifying Subjects: Candidates have passed 10+2 with PCM subjects.

For PG Programmes:

·         M.Sc Agriculture: Candidates have passed B.Sc. Agriculture/ B.Sc Horticulture from a recognized board or university.

·         M.Sc Forestry: Candidates have passed B.Sc Forestry from recognized boards.

·         M.Tech Agriculture Engineering: Candidate has done B.Sc Agriculture Engineering & Technology / B.Tech Agriculture Engineering from a recognized board.

OUAT 2020 Syllabus

This will cover various topics from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology. For the UG level, the questions will be from the 12^th level and for PG courses, the syllabus will contain topics from the relevant fields studied at the graduate level.
