OUAT 2024

OUAT 2024 Form has been released from 1st March 2024. The University offers admission at the UG, PG and Ph.D. levels in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Fishery Science, Home Science, Forestry, Computer Science Application, Bioinformatics, Agri-Business Management and UG/PG level in College of Basic Science & Humanities, Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic in the semester system. Research and Extension programmes are carried out at the Regional Research & Technology Transfer Station (RRTTS) and Sub-stations and Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), located in different parts of Odisha.

It is important for the candidate to log in with correct and valid email id and mobile number to submit Form A through the website www.out.ac.in or http://ouat-lokaseba-odisha.in with payment of Application fee by internet banking/Debit Card/Credit Card of any bank UPI.

Form B

Submission for Form B is mandatory for admission. Form B is editable till last date of submission

The application form A for Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic both continuing and pass out students of OUAT seeking admission in UG course 2024-25 will be available from 15 April 2024 to 9 May 2024

A short list will be prepared of the candidates in the ratio 1:3. It will be on the  basis of marks obtained in HSC (10th)/ equivalent examination and Personal Interview on the basis of 80% & 20% weightage respectively.

The admission will be made according to merit (as under clause-5) through Counselling for all the Certificate courses listed under clause – 4.1. 7.2 Based on the mark secured in the H.S.C. (10th) Examination as mentioned in the Application Forms, the KVKs will prepare a provisionally shortlist of candidates. The KVKs will send ‘intimation letter’ to the shortlisted candidates to appear before the ‘Selection Committee’ for personal interview on scheduled date and time.

B.Sc. (Hons.)/ Agriculture/ Forestry/ Horticulture:

  • Qualification: A  12th class or its equivalent from any recognized board.
  • Age Limit: 17  years as of 31 December 2023.
  • Marks: Secured 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category).
  • Subjects: Candidates must pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology as mandatory subjects.
  • Appearing: Appearing candidates will be also eligible to apply for the admission procedure.

 B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering):

  • Qualification: 12th intermediate or its equivalent exam from any recognized board or university.
  • Subject:  Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects to be eligible for admission.
  • Marks: You have secured 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category) to be eligible for the examination.

PG Courses:

M.Sc. (Agriculture):

  • Qualification: A  bachelor’s degree from any recognized university by State/ Central government.
  • Marks: You must have secured at least 60% marks for general category (50% marks for reserved category).

M.Tech (Agriculture Engineering):

  • Qualification: A  bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.
  • Marks: Candidates must have scored minimum 60% marks (50% marks for reserved category).
