OSSC CGL 2024 Notification Out Check Exam Date, Eligibility, Exam Pattern

OSSC CGL 2024 The application form is released online for the vacancies in Odisha. This is a Combined Graduate level vacancies the total number of vacancies are 589. The vacancies are in Group B and Group C level.

The selection will be based on the written exam in two phases preliminary exam and main exam. The last stage is certificate verification. It is to be noted that candidates number 1.5 times of vacancies advertised shall be shortlisted for certificate verification.

If the candidates for certificate is less than 50 then candidates number two times of the vacancies advertised shall be shortlisted for certificate verification.

In case the number of vacancies are not filled up completely it is the discretion of commission to call the candidates on merit for the said post.

A merit list will be prepared on the basis of written test and skill test.

Basic Requirement

You are citizen of India of good character, and should not have more than one spouse

You are able to read,write and speak Odia fluently

You must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as language subject or

You have passed HSC Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non language subject or

You have passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of class VII or above from a school of education institution recognized by government of Odisha or central government or

Must have passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard conducted by the school and Mass education department Government of Odisha

OSSC CGL 2024 Educational Qualification

You are a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and have computer knowledge such as proficiency in the use of  computer internet,email,word processing,data analysis and presentation

OSSC CGL 2024 Age Criteria

Minimum age 21 as on 01.01.2024 and Maximum 38 Year as on 01.01.2024

Relaxation of Age

Upper age relaxation of candidate belonging to SC/ST/SEBC/women candidates

10 Years for PwD category

Negative Marking- There will be negative mark for wrong answer ¼ marks will be deducted if there are four option,1/3 marks will deducted if there are three options are available
