The notification for starting the Odisha Deled registration process will be released in the month of July 2025. Still, candidates who want to apply for Odisha deled will be able to register from July. This entrance exam is conducted to offer admission into the 2-Year Regular Diploma in D. El. Ed. Course program for the academic session 2025-27 in 30 DIETs, 31 Government Elementary Teacher Education Institutions (ETEIs), 02 Government Elementary Teacher Education Institutions (SC & ST Development), and 01 Non-Government Aided Secondary Training School managed by the Minority Community of the State.

SCERT is a conducting body that focuses on educational research and training initiatives in the state. The Directorate of Teacher Education (DTE), which is a part of SCERT Odisha, holds the D.El.Ed entrance examination.

SCERT Odisha Deled 2025: Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have successfully completed Class 12 or Higher Secondary, or an equivalent examination, from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks.
- 5% relaxation is granted for candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC/PH categories.
- Proficiency in Language – Candidates must have proficient in Odia Language and Candidates must have passed Odia as a MIL (Modern Indian Language) up to the HSC level / Equivalent.

- Candidates applying for Odisha D.El.Ed. admission should be a minimum of 17 years of age

Odisha Deled 2025 Exam Pattern
There will be an online computer-based test for selecting candidates for admission into D.El.Ed. programs for the academic session 2024-26. The entrance examination will contain two sections as follows:
Section-1 carries 30 questions for 30 marks. Questions will be asked from Language (English), Education and General Awareness, Reasoning and Teaching Aptitude
Section-2 Carries 60 Questions for 60 Questions. Questions will be asked from Odia/Telugu/Urdu/Santhali, Mathematics, Social Science and Science

SCERT Odisha Deled Seats 2025: previous year record
There are 6650 seats available in different institutions of the state. A total of 68 institutes have 6550 seats for admission into DE. El. Ed. Last year SCERT Odisha received a total of 69,314 applications; out of them, 6,104 admissions took place, where 392,141 were girls and boys were 2,141. This year applications are invited for 6550 seats.
