The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced the dates for the Odisha Civil Service Examination 2025. The registration Process has started from January 10, 2025. To apply candidates must have passed graduation degree. The application process for the examination is scheduled to begin on January 10, 2025. A total of 200 vacancies were filling in this recruitment process. The Post Includes Odisha Administrative Service, Odisha Finance Service, Odisha Taxation & Accounts Service, Odisha Cooperative Audit Service, Odisha Cooperative Service, Odisha Revenue Service. General category candidates can attempt Odisha Civil Service Exam only 6 times. And there is no any attempt restriction for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor Degree from any university.
- Passed 10th with Odia as a Language Subject OR
- 12th passed with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject OR
- Passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class VII from a School. OR
- Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard Conducted by the School & Mass Education Department of the Government of Odisha.

Selection Process
The selection process for the Odisha Civil Service Examination 2025 will consist of the following stages:
- Preliminary Examination – The preliminary examination will be an objective-type test consisting of two papers: General Studies Paper-I & II.
- Main Examination – The main examination will be a descriptive-type test consisting of four papers: General English, General Studies, Optional Subject, and Essay.
- Personality Test – The personality test will be a face-to-face interview with the OPSC panel.

Preliminary Exam Pattern
The Preliminary Examination shall comprise of two compulsory papers of objective types (Multiple Choice Questions)
Prelim Exam Consist 2 papers and carrying a maximum of 200 marks each
- General Studies – Paper-1 – 200 marks.
- General Studies – Paper-II – 200 marks.
- Exam Duration in each paper is 2 hours.
- Negative Marking – 0.33% negative marking for each wrong answer.
Prelims Exam Minimum Qualifying Marks
The OPSC shall draw a list of candidates to be qualified for Civil Services (Main) Examination based on the criterion of minimum qualifying marks of 33% in General Studies Paper-II of Civil Service Preliminary Examination and Total qualifying marks of General studies paper-I of Civil Services Preliminary Examination.

The Written examination shall comprise of two parts i.e. Part -I and Part-II.
