NIRF State Ranking 2024- State Public University-NIRF ranking 2024 has been released by the MOE and it is for the first time they have included State Public University. Tamil Nadu is the champion of having the most number of colleges or universities in top 50 list. Anna University of Tamil Nadu is on the first position.
If we look at the number of higher education institutes Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of higher educational institutes, there are 8375. Only 4 institutes could make it to the top 50 list of NIRF Ranking. Maharashtra which is at no 2 in terms of highest number of higher educational institutes I.e.,4692 only four institutes could make it to the top 50 list in NIRF Ranking.
NIRF State Ranking 2024
Tamil Nadu which comes at fifth position in terms of number of institutes in India, there are 2829 higher educational institutes here. But Tamil Nadu 10 colleges or universities feature in the Top 50 ranking of NIRF 2024.
The AISHE report tells that among the number of higher education institutes per lakh Karnataka tops the list with 66 institutes per lakh population followed by Telangana(52)
Delhi the capital of India does not feature in AISHE report in the top 10 highest number of educational institutes but its number in the State Public University is good. Its newly started colleges such as NSUT feature in the top 50 list.
