NIPERs Institute in Top ten ranking

NIPERs made its place in the top 10 Institute of Higher Education in the Pharma category. The Institute is enthusiastic about this ranking and it mentions the improving performance and commitment to the case of education, research, and innovation in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

National Institutes of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPERs), under the aegis of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers makes its place in the top ten Institutions of Higher Education in the pharma category.

NIPERs Institute made it to the top ten ranking 2020

Union’ Minister for chemicals and fertilizers Shri D V Sadananda Gowda and MoS (C&F)Shri Mansukh Mandaviya have congratulated all faculties and students of NIPERs for the tireless efforts displayed by them to achieve this success.

Union Ministry of Human Resource Development has released “India Rankings 2020” of Institutions of Higher Education in various categories on the basis of their performance on five broad parameters.

In the pharmacy category, NIPERs have much to cheer about on the declared ranking. Out of seven NIPERs all across the country, SAS Nagar (Mohali) has retained its third position, while NIPERs at Hyderabad and Ahmedabad has improved one rank from the last year and have been ranked 5th and 8th position in the country respectively’ as they did in the previous year also.

The other three NIPERs at Guwahati, Raebareli and Kolkata have entered for the first time and made their place at 11,18 and 27 spots for themselves.

Under the annual ranking, various Universities, colleges, medicine, dental, law, architecture, engineering, management, and pharmacy institutes are ranked.

About NIPERs

NIPER is the first national-level institute in Pharmaceutical science with the aim of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical science.

Pharmaceutical Science. The Govt.of India declared NIPER as an Institute of National Importance. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of the Dept. Of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemical and Fertilizers.

The Institute feels elated in providing leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas not only within India but in countries of South East Asia, South Asia, and Africa.
