8 Pay commission-After a long break of pay commission government of India has announced setting up of eight pay commission for government employee. The move will benefit 45 lakh employee and 68 lakh pensioner.

India’s third launch pad with Spadex success

India space mission has reached new height with two development-first is the approval of Third Launch Pad at sriharikota and historic success of ISRO’s space docking experiment (spadex). The union cabinet has approved the budget of Rs.3984 crore for the establishment of the TLP designed to support next generation Launch vehicle (NGLVs).The TLP is expected to be completed in 48 Months this will boost India’s launch capacity and create demand for thousand of skilled professional

Start up Mahakumb

India will hold start up Mahakumbh in April this year titled as Startup Mahakumbh with an anticipated participation of more than 25,000 startups.The motive of this start up is to foster innovation,industry leaders,investors and policymakers on a single platform.

Bharat Startup Challenge will be launched that will throw 75 sector specific challenges in the areas of renewable energy,agritech,and semiconductors. The highlight of government start up mission has nurtured 1.59 lakh start up and created 17.2 lakh jobs since 2016.

Two New CISF Reserve Battalion

The government has approved the setting up two new Reserve Battalion for the central Industrial Security Force (CISF) increasing the total battalion from 13 to 15. Each battalion will comprise over 1025 personnel which will be led by a Senior commandant. This will bolster cisf capacity to handle rising internal security demands

India and Singapore celebrate 60 years of Diplomatic Ties

India and Singapore completed 60 years of diplomatic ties. Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam visited New Delhi and met Presient Murmu and PM Modi. They discussed on enhancing cooperation in cutting edge sectors like semiconductor manufacturing,digital infrastructure and workforce skilling to meet future demands

India and Nepal partner for 900 MW upper karnali Hydropower Project

IREDA has signed a joint venture agreement with SJVN,GMR Energy and Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) to develop 900 MW upper karnali hydropower project in Nepal. The project is under Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) model of 25 years term.

India joins UN Big Data for official statistics

India has joined the UN Committee of Expers on Big Dta and Data Science for official statistics enhancing its statistical ecosystem. India will contribute to shaping global standard for leveraging big data and data science in official statistics while showcasing its initiative like data innovation,Lab and exploration of alternate data sources.

The committee focuses on addressing the challenges and opportunities in using big data including its role in monitoring and achieving sustainable development goals.

India on second position In Qs ranking on Digital Skill

QS ranking which is ranking institutions for the education industry has put India on second position in Digital Skill. PM Modi has expressed pride in Quacquarelli Symonds world future skill index ranking. India has been ranked ahead of country like Canada and Germany

Launch of National Critical Mineral Mission

The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved the launch of the National Critical Mineral Mission (NCMM) with an expenditure of Rs.16,300 crore and expected investment of Rs.18,000 crore by PSUs, etc.

As part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, and recognizing the indispensable role of critical minerals in high-tech industries, clean energy, and defense, the Government of India has undertaken several initiatives over the past two years to address challenges in the critical minerals sector.
