The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2024 result has been declared on July 12, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official NEST Website by login with their user ID and password.

The score card will contain details such as candidates name, Marks obtain in exam, candidates roll number, and rank. The merit list for NEST 2024 will also be available, which is based on the candidate performance in the exam.

The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is an annual entrance exam conducted for admission to the integrated MSc program in basic sciences offered by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and the University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CBS).

HOW TO DOWNLOAD NEST RESULT:

Step-1: Open your search engine and visit on the official website i.e.

Step-2: At Homepage Click on NEST Result link.

Step-3: Fill your some personal details such as Application Number and Admit Card.

Step-4: result will be open on your screen.

MERIT LIST:

As merit list calculation will be performed on marks obtained in the best three sections, the ‘total’ marks for NEST 2024 become 180.

COUNSELING PROCESS FOR NEST 2024

Step-1: Check Notifications: Regularly check the official website for counseling notifications and schedules.

Step-2: Registration for Counseling: Once the counseling process begins, register yourself for the counseling session as per the instructions on the website.

Step-3: Document Verification: Gather all necessary documents (academic certificates, NEST scorecard, ID proof, etc.) for verification during counseling.

Step-4: Choice Filling: Fill in your preferred choices of institutions and courses based on your rank and eligibility.

Step-5: Seat Allotment: After the choice filling, seats will be allotted based on your rank, preferences, and availability. The allotment results will be published on the website.

Step-6: Acceptance and Reporting: If you are allotted a seat, confirm your acceptance and report to the designated institute within the given timeframe with the required documents for admission.
