How many seats available by NEET UG counselling 2024 for Medical Courses?
The Counselling will take place for the allotment of approximately 110,000 MBBS seats in around 710 medical colleges across the country.
Also the counselling will be held for 21, 000 BDS seats besides Ayush and Nursing seats.
NEET UG 2024 seat matrix schedule by July end-NEET UG counselling 2024- The date July 6 went but counselling for NEET UG has not started. There was schedule released by MCC for counselling of NEET UG and NEET PG when the exam was over.
Ever since the controversy emerged on NEET UG and case went to Supreme Court nothing positive came. Now the case will be heard on July 8 in SC.
It can be expected that the counselling date will be announced after the Supreme Court verdict. The education ministry have submitted before the court that no big mishaps happened and it should allow counselling of NEET UG as the fate of good number of students are at stake.

It is interesting to note that the court had rejected all petitions demanding a stay on counselling till the case on the alleged malpractices in NEET-UG is disposed of
The NMC has communicated that the schedule for finalization of the seat matrix for both UG and PG will be done by third week of July for UG and for PG seat matrix by Mid August. It is expected that the MCC will accordingly notify the counselling schedule.
