NEET UG Re-Test Result was declared on July 1 wherein the result 813 candidates declared. It is important to note that the retest was conducted for 1563 candidates who have been given grace marks.
The figure tell that 60 percent out of 813 candidates have improved upon their original score excluding the grace marks. But nobody could score perfect marks of 720 resulting in a decrease in the number of AIR 1 rankers from 67 to 61. As the reports goes by at least five out of the six candidates who originally scored 720/720 maintained scores above 680 in the retest.
The NEET 2024 re-test was conducted in seven exam centres across Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Meghalaya, and Chandigarh.
The increases over what they had scored minus the grace marks range between 10 and 40 marks. Though the NTA did not release the score as it does with regular exam.
