NEET PG 2024 new exam dates announced. Now it will be conducted on August 11 in two shift. The correction window was closed. The candidates who have paid the application fee can only do the correction. The application has been opened today on 16 April 2024 and will close on 6 May 2024.

The NEET PG 2024 exam dates: NEET PG is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to MD, MS, or diploma courses. Candidates who have completed or are completing an MBBS degree can apply for this exam. NEET PG is a ranking cum entrance test for admission to MD, MS, and diploma courses.

You can submit the NEET-PG 2024 application form only once. If any candidate is found to have submitted more than one application form for NEET-PG 2024, the candidate may be debarred from NEET-PG, his/her candidature may be cancelled and further action as deemed appropriate by NBEMS shall be taken

Demo Test: A demo test shall be available for the benefit of candidates to familiarise themselves with the Computer Test format at the website https://nbe.edu.in Candidates will be able to access the Demo test tentatively from 20th February 2023 onwards.

Application for NEET-PG 2024 can only be submitted online through the NBEMS website https://nbe.edu.in. There is no other methodology for application submission.

Centralized admissions do not cover the following Medical institutions for MD/MS seats through NEET- PG for 2024session:

  1. AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS
  2. PGIMER, Chandigarh
  3. JIPMER, Puducherry
  4. NIMHANS, Bengaluru,
  5. Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum

Mode of payment

You can pay the fee through a credit/ debit card. Fee cannot be deposited through any mode other than the payment gateway available while submitting online application form submission.

Eligibility

For Indian National

  • Candidates in possession of an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possessing a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
  • You have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 31st May 2022, may apply for NEET-PG 2024 through the online application system at the website https://nbe.edu.in

CUT-OFF DATE FOR COMPLETION OF INTERNSHIP

31st May 2024

Requests for appearing in NEET-PG 2024 from candidates completing internship after 31st May 2024 or having qualifications that are not recognized as per the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed IMC Act, 1956 shall be summarily rejected. Candidates are further advised not to canvass for the same.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

FOR FOREIGN MEDICAL GRADUATES:

Indian citizens or overseas citizens of India who have obtained their Primary Medical Qualifications from Medical Colleges outside India should have qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) as per Screening Test Regulations, 2002 which is conducted by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences. Further, they should have been registered with the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and should have completed their internship or likely to complete their internship on or before 31st May 2022. Foreign Medical Graduates are required to bring their FMGE Pass certificate issued by NBEMS on their testing day alongwith the provisional/permanent registration certificate issued by a medical council.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS:

Temporary registration is not mandatory for foreign nationals with National Medical Commission (NMC) at the time of writing NEET-PG. Foreign Nationals are allowed to write NEET-PG without registration with NMC.

The NMC may, on payment of the prescribed fee for registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the Post Graduate course limited to the medical college/institution to which he/she is admitted for the time being exclusively for pursuing postgraduate studies. Provided further that temporary registration to such foreign national shall be subject to the condition that such person is duly registered with appropriate registering authority in his own country where from he has obtained his Basic Medical qualification, and is duly recognized by the corresponding Medical Council or concerned authority.

Exam pattern

The exam comprises of 200 Multiple Choice Questions with each question having 4 response options/ distractors in English language only. Candidates are required to select the correct/best/most appropriate response/answer out of the 4 response options provided in each question. Time allotted is 3 hrs 30 minutes.

Every correct answer carries 4 marks, One Mark will be deducted for wrong answer. An Unattempted questions carries no marks.
