The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2025 is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for Admission to 4 Year ITEP Degree Courses. The NCET 2025 exam will be held on April 29, and the admit card will release 3 days before the exam date. The exam will consist of Four sections, including languages, teaching aptitude, general test, and domain-specific subjects. The exam pattern includes 160 questions, with a duration of 180 minute.

The National Common Entrance Test 2025 Syllabus has been designed to assess the Knowledge, Skills, and aptitude of candidates seeking admission to 4-Year ITEP Degree Courses. The NCET Syllabus is divided into 4 Main Sections Include – Language, Domain Test, General Test, and Teaching Aptitude.
- Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary.
- Domain Test – General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
- General Test – General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
- Teaching Aptitude – Topics related to the teaching of Science, Arts, Mathematics, Performing Arts, Languages etc.
What is Role of NTA for NCET Exam 2025?
The Role of NTA is Confined to the registration of candidates the conduct of the test, hosting answer key, inviting challenges, finalizing answer keys, preparing and declaring results, hosting Score Cards and handing over the score data to the participating Universities/ Institutions/ Government Colleges. NTA are not responsible to Published NCET Merit List.

NCET Exam Marking Scheme 2025
- There shall be 4 marks is awarded for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking – 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- No any marks for Unanswered/ Un Marked Question.
NCET Exam 2025: Required Documents to Carry at examination Center
- Candidate Must carry NCET Exam 2025 Admit Card, Passport Size photograph and Identity proof at examination center. Without admit card candidates are not allowed to be enter in examination center.
- Admit Card download only NTA Website.
- A Transparent Ball Point Pen.
- Candidates carry one identity proof from School Identity Card/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/E-Aadhaar with photograph/ Ration Card with photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph.
- Identity Proof must be original , valid, and non- expired.
- PwBD Certificate issed by the authorized medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under PwBD Category.
- Personal Transparent water bottle.
- Sugar tablets/ Fruits (like banana/ apple/ orange) in case of candidate is diabetic.
