NCET 2025 application form will open in April and exam will be conducted in June 2025
The application form releases generally in the month of April 2025 and submission last date is April 2025. Candidates who are interested in this four year degree course will be able to apply when the application form opens in selected Central/State University/Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2025-26.

In the year 2024 only 21,564 candidates appeared for the test. The registration was higher for the exam.
Only 94 candidates who scored 80 Marks in Punjabi and only 66 candidates scored in 80 marks in Malayalam.
Candidates who scored 100 marks is in political science their number is 18.

2024 Exam Highlight
In total, 66 subjects (38 languages, 27 Domain-Specific Subjects, and One General Test) were offered for the candidates in the NCET 2024. Three new subjects Garo (220), Khasi (221), and Pali (222) were added for the first time.
A Candidate had to choose 07 Subjects including two languages (Indian and Foreign), three domain subjects, a General Test, and Teaching Aptitude. However, the candidates were registered in 58 subjects only and appeared in 56 subjects.
Medium of the test
The medium of the Question Paper was in 13 languages (English, Hindi along with regional languages i.e. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu) so that the candidate from different regions could attempt in their own medium and feel comfortable to write and understand the pattern/method of the examination.
An overall choice in all subjects was given to all candidates in order to cater to the decision of different Boards across the country regarding the reduction of the syllabus. In languages and Teaching Aptitude, candidates had to attempt any 20 questions out of 23, and for domain specific subjects and the General Test, 25 questions out of 28 questions were to be attempted. iv. The candidates, who were not able to select Language 2 as they had not studied the other language in their Class 12, so they were unable to apply for the same. In order to support these candidates, an opportunity was provided to the candidates to select either English for Communication (114) or Hindi for Communication (115)
