NATA 2025 application window is opening 3 Feb- NATA 2025 Application Date and Exam Dates will be out soon: The registration process is starting from tomorrow 3 February 2025 The registration link has been active and candidates can start registering for the exam. The NATA 2054 exam will start from 1 March and continue till June on two days Friday and Saturday. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to undergraduate architecture programs in India.

There are 370 architecture colleges in India that offers admission in BArch courses.

2024 passed candidates can also participate in this NATA 2025. But their 2024 score will be freezed.

The examination shall be conducted on all weekends from March to June 2025 in two sessions, subject to several candidates registered for the session.

The authorities release the NATA admit card separately for each attempt, and it is an essential document that candidates must carry to the exam centre. The admit card acts as an identity proof and contains important details regarding the exam centre, date, and time of the exam. Therefore, candidates must download and carry the NATA admit card to the exam centres.

Validity of NATA Score 2025- It is valid for one year the year a candidate appears for the NATA exam

The candidates can appear for a maximum of 3 attempts in NATA 2025 in one academic year. The best score out of all the attempts shall be considered to declare results. The score of the NATA Test would be valid for 2 academic years.

A minimum of 20 marks must be secured in PART A

A minimum of 30 marks must be secured in PART B

Overall qualifying marks for NATA is 70 marks out of 200 as aggregate of Part A and Part B

NATA Exam dates are 1 March to June 2025

There is no morning exam session for NATA 2025

Exam Timing- First Session on Friday 1.30-4.30 PM

Saturday Session 1.30 PM to 4.30 PM

The process of downloading the NATA Session Admit Card is straightforward. Candidates can visit the official website of NATA and log in using their application number and password. After logging in, they can download the admit card and take a printout of the same. . Candidates are advised to download the admit card as soon as it is available to avoid any last-minute technical glitches.

Syllabus

Questions & Marks of Examination Part A – Drawing and Composition Test – Offline Test – 90 Minutes

 A1 – 1 Question – Composition and Color -25 Marks

A2 – 1 Question – Sketching & Composition (Black and White)- 25 Marks

A3 – 1 Question – 3D Composition – 30 Marks Total 3 Questions – 80 Marks

Part B – MCQ – Computer-based online Test – 90 Minutes

B1 – 30 questions x 2 Marks – 60 Marks

B2 – 15 questions x 4 Marks -60 Marks Total 45 Questions – 120 Marks

TOTAL MARKS: PART – A & PART – B = 200

PART-A Drawing and Composition Test

This is one and a half hours (90 minutes) – 80 Marks Test where the candidate has to attempt three questions. The content of the PART A Test is as follows: x A1 – Composition and Color -25 Marks: Creating suitable compositions for various situations and colouring them appropriately. Re-arranging various shapes in a visually appealing manner and colouring it suitably. x A2 -Sketching & Composition (Black and White)-25 Marks: Ability to draw, visualize, and depict a situation, involving buildings / its components, people, environment, and products with an understanding of scale, proportions, textures, shades and shadow etc. x A3 – 3D Composition-30 Marks: Creating interesting 3D composition for the given situation using the provided kit.

PART-B

This is a one-and-a-half-hour (90-minute), 120 Marks Test where the candidate has to appear for an online test.

It shall have two types of Questions viz., B1 – 30 Questions of 2 Marks and B2 – 15 Questions of 4 Marks from the following topics: x Visual Reasoning Ability to understand and reconstruct 2D and 3D composition, knowledge about its composition and technical concepts. x Logical Derivation Ability to decode a situation, composition, context and generate meaning. Understanding the minute information hidden in a particular situation and concluding. x G.K., Architecture & Design General awareness of architecture and design, current issues, recent episodes etc., Knowledge about important buildings, historical progression, innovation in materials and construction technology. x Language Interpretation Ability to correctly & logically generate the meaning of words, and sentences, and understand English grammar.

• Design Sensitivity Ability to observe record and analyze, people, space, products, and environment. Critical thinking, reasoning and ability to identify subtle communications. x Design Thinking Ability to understand semantics, metaphors, problem identification and definition, and analysis of a given situation.

• Numerical Ability Basic Mathematics and its association with creative thinking. To unfold a space with the use of geometry
