CTET 2022 application form releasing dates, eligibility

 The CTET 2022 application form (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) exam notification is expected to be released this month on the official website. The validity of CTET is lifetime, earlier the validity was only 7 years.

The CBSE conducts this Eligibility Test in two shifts for CTET Paper I and Paper-II. CTET Paper 1 is for candidates who want to become a teacher of Classes I-V and CTET Paper 2 is for Classes VI-VII teachers.

Why Central Teacher Eligibility Testis important

Central Teacher Eligibility Test Eligibility certificate is a ticket for the aspirants to secure a teaching job in any Government or private school. Candidates who qualify for the CTET exam become eligible to apply for recruitment in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya or any other Central School by applying to their respective recruitment drive.

Eligibility Criteria

There are two papers and have different eligibility criteria, candidate can check the eligibility according to the choice they want to appear-

Eligibility Criteria (Classes I to V)

You have passed the Class 12 exam with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved categories) of marks and
You have passed the D.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) course and are eligible to register for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test December 2020 exam. Candidates who are pursuing a final-year D.Ed course are also eligible to apply for CTET July 2020 exam.

You have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% of marks and have passed B.EI.Ed courses (Bachelors in Elementary Education) are eligible to register for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test exam.
Appearing candidates who are in their final-year B.EI.Ed course is also eligible for the CTET exam.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% of marks and have completed D.Ed in Special Education are eligible for the CTET exam. Candidates in their final-year D.Ed in Special Education course can also register for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test exam.

Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree and B.Ed with a minimum of 50% of marks are eligible to register for the CTET exam.
Central Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-II (Classes VI to VIII)

You have completed a Bachelor’s degree and have passed the D.Ed course and are eligible to register for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test exam.

Candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% of marks and have passed B.Ed can also register for the CTET exam.

Candidates have passed Class 12 and B.EI.Ed with a minimum of 50% of marks is eligible to register for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test exam.

Candidates have passed Class 12 and have passed B.A. B.Ed/ B.Sc B.Ed integrated courses are eligible to register for the CTET exam.
