If we go by the media reports, the admission process for the academic session 2020-21 is delayed this time because of uncalled circumstances in the form of Coronavirus.

However, Coronavirus is not the sole reason for its delay, this time some changes were also to be made in the enrollment process in Kendriya Vidyalayas, due to which it has been delayed. Some changes in the guidelines and rules regarding reserved seats were being planned by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. But due to the sudden closure of the school, the notification could not be issued.

Generally, every year the Kendriya Vidyalaya admission is released in the month of February. After this, the application process starts in the month of March.
