KMAT Karnataka 2020 exam
KMAT Karnataka 2020 Application Form Last date has been extended till 31st August 2020. The exam has also been postponed.
It will be conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate College Association (KPPGCA) for admission into MBA, PGDMA and MCA courses. Admission will be provided to the test-qualifying candidates in various institutions/colleges situated in the state of Bangalore and Karnataka.
Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2020 conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association) for admission to 189+ AICTE approved/ University affiliated Management Institutes in Bangalore and Karnataka.
KMAT 2020 is an All India exam that will be held in more than 10 cities in Bangalore and Karnataka and across the country. KMAT 2020 is open to candidates from all parts of India and Abroad.
KMAT 2020 score
It is to be noted that the MBA/MCA colleges in Bangalore and the rest of Karnataka with moderate fee structures will accept KMAT 2020 score as admission criteria for All India Candidates and Karnataka Domicile candidates for admission to their flagship MBA/PGDM/MCA programmes in 2020.
KPPGCA opens KMAT exam registration for all candidates across the country, irrespective of their domicile state. Now candidates from across the country will be considered for admission to MBA/MCA 2020 in more than 189+ B-schools located in Bangalore and the rest of Karnataka state.
Mode of Exam
KMAT 2020 Test will be of 2 hours. It will be a paper-pencil-based test. KPPGCA believes that a single testing session with the same difficulty level will provide a level playing field to all the test takers without any discrimination.

Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs 800/- for all categories.
Mode of Payment: The application fee can be paid through online mode by credit card, debit card or net banking.
Eligibility for KMAT 2020
Entry requirements into professional courses like MBA/PGDM/MCA in Karnataka are followed as per the UGC guidelines.
MBA/PGDM
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years duration/ Masters degree examination of any recognised education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent, and
Candidates have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates in the final year of a bachelor’s degree are also eligible.
MCA
Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks. Candidates should have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 stage or at the graduation level..
MBA

Logical Reasoning — 40 Questions
Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
English language ability would be tested through questions on Grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc
Logical and Abstract Reasoning
This shall include questions to measure how quickly and accurately you can think. The section may have questions in sets as well as individual ones based on Verbal Reasoning, and analogy among others.
Quantitative Ability
This section contains questions about matriculation standards. It includes questions to know how fast and accurately you can work with numbers, do numerical calculations, and understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio & proportion, percentage, interest, time & speed etc.
The questions may also be based on Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and parts of mathematics. This test also helps to measure your power of quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs & charts.
