JKBOPEE Admission Notification for B. Architecture Course 2024

The JKBOPEE (Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations) has released the admission notification for the B. Architecture course for 2024. This notification provides details about eligibility criteria, application procedures, important dates, and counseling schedules.

JKBOPEE Application Status

The Online Registration process has started form August 20, 2024 and candidates can apply for this application till August 24, 2024

The JKBOPEE has invited candidates for admission into B. Arch. after Declaration of Results by NATA & JEE, applications are invited from eligible candidates belonging to Union Territories of J&K / Ladakh, for admission to B.Arch. Courses at GCET, Jammu (School of Architecture, GCET Campus Kot Bhalwal) & GCET Safapora, Ganderbal (School of Architecture Safapora, Ganderbal) for the academic session 2024.

The JKBOPEE has released Notification on August 18, 2024. The Notification no. for 079-BOPEE of 2024.and it was published on the official website, www.jkbopee.gov.in  Candidates can apply for this application till August 24, 2024.

• Application fee for all candidates Rs. 1200/- by online mode (POS Machine available BOPEE Office Jammu/ Srinagar by Debit/ Credit Card)

JKBOPEE B. Architecture Registration

Step-1: Open your search engine and visit on the official website

Step-2: Click on the “Online Application” link.

Step-3: Select the course you want to apply for (e.g. B.Ed., BE, etc.)

Step-4: Fill in the registration form with your personal details, including name, Date of birth, email ID, and mobile Number.

Step-5: Create a username and password.

Step-6: Pay the registration fee online (if applicable)

Step-7: Fill out the application form and upload required documents such Qualification certificates, category certificates, etc.

Step-8: Submit and download application form for future reference. 

Required Documents for applying

1. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be. For Candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by the competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate.
2. Qualifying marks (12th class) certificate with subjects mentioned above/10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as compulsory subject; (whichever is applicable).
3. Score card of NATA 2024 or JEE 2024 or both, as the case may be.
4. Date of Birth (10th Marks card/Diploma issued by the recognized Board).
5. Valid Reserved category certificate, if any,
6. Fee of Rs. 1200/- to be paid either through POS machine available at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar by debit/credit card.

JKBOPEE B. Arch 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• 10 +2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects/Computer science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies.
• With minimum Qualifying marks 45%. OR
• 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Selection Criteria

• There are 80 seats (its changeable) of B. Architecture (40 seats at GCET, Jammu & 40 Seats at GCET Safapora, Ganerbal, Kashmir).
• The Board shall fill up these seats on the basis of Merit cum Preference as preferred by the candidates in his/her registration cum counselling form.

Tie Breaking Criteria

In case two or more candidates having same merit, then their tie shall be resolved by considering Mathematics Marks scored in 12th class examination/10+3 Diploma Examination & in case of further tie, the D.O.B of candidate shall be taken into account for selection.

If any mistake is found in the filling information at the time of document verification, what action will be taken by Board?

The Board has right to accept /reject any application form at any stage if found false without issuing any notice to the candidate.
