The institutions affiliated with J&K Bose fall in the soft and hard zones of UT of J&K and Ladakh. The 10 Class registration starts from 29 November 23 and for classes 11 & 12, registration will be on 2 December 23. There is a provision for the late fee for the students who miss the deadline. Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir has identified 444 schools falling in 57 ‘hard zones’ across J&K.

Details show that in the Kashmir Valley, these schools are divided into 5 districts: Anantnag, Bandipora, Kupwara, Kulgam and Budgam, while in the Jammu region, the schools classified as “hard zones” are divided into  7 districts Kishtwar, Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Ramban and Udhampur.

In the Anantnag district of Kashmir, annual examinations will be conducted in April in 43 such schools located in Ashmuqam, Bidder, Bijbehara, Dooro, Matan, Qazigund, Shangus, Vailoo and Verinag districts.

There are 19 such schools in Bandipora, all in Gurez district. In Kupwara, there are 32 such facilities in Chamkote, Khumriyal, Kralpora, Tangdhar and Trehgam districts.

Similarly, Kulgam has 28 such schools spread across districts like D.H.Pora, Devsar and Kulgam. In Budgam, there are 13 such schools in Chadoora, Chrar-e-Sharief, Khansahib, Nagam and Khag districts.

In Kishtwar district of Jammu province, authorities have identified 50 institutions to conduct annual examinations in April and autumn in Warwan, Marwah, Paddar, Drabshalla, Inderwal and Kishtwar districts. Reasi district has 47 such facilities in Arnas, Chassana, Mahore and Reasi districts. Rajouri district has 7 such schools in the Koteranka area. Poonch district has 20 such facilities in Sathra, Mandi, Surankote and Bufliaz areas.

Similarly, in the Doda district, there are 56 such schools in Bhatyas, Thathri, Gundna, Ghat, Bhagwah, Assar, Doda, Bhallesa and Bhaderwah districts. Meanwhile, the Ramban region has 64 such schools spread across the districts of Banihal, Batote, Gool, Khari, Ramban and Ukhral. Finally, in the Udhampur district, JKBOSE found 65 such schools in the Pancheri, Chenani, Ghordi, Dudu and Kulwanta districts
