JEE Main 2025 Second Session Dates. Registration process for second session for JEE Main 2025 will start in January 31 and will end on February 22 2025. The exam dates have been announced it will be conducted from April 1 to 8 2025. Admit card will be released three days before the exam.

To apply for second session candidates can use first generated application number for both Sessions of JEE (Main) – 2025.
The new website for 2025 JEE Main exam launched by NTA. The NTA made few changes too as Optional questions in Paper B of BE/B.Tech has been removed. Now students will be given only five questions and they have to attempt all the five questions.
The timing for PWD candidate with 40 per cent disability have been increased, they will be given 20 minutes extra per hour to attempt the paper. The total time allotted is One Hour.
The First Session Application form was released in first week of November 24. The schedule is given below for the April 2025 Second Session. JEE Main is held in two sessions. The first session exam will be held on January 22 to February 1.

Candidate has the choice to apply for both sessions first session on January 25 and the Second session on April 25
The first session will be conducted between January 22 to 1 February 2025 and Second Session will be conducted between 1 April to 08 April 2025. It is a computer-based test that the NTA organizes for admission to Engineering and Architectural Courses in India.
JEE Main score is the platform for appearing in the JEE Advanced 2025 entrance exam. JEE Advanced is conducted by one of the IITs every year.
NTA has the responsibility to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (Main paper 1) for admission to B.E/B. Tech courses are offered at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating state governments. JEE Main paper 2 is conducted for admission to B.Arch/B. Plan courses JEE Main also acts as an eligibility test for IITs, which conducts JEE Advanced for admission into IITs.
Few Facts
- IIIT Hyderabad is an exception and it does not participate in JOSAA counselling
- Chemistry is not mandatory for JEE Main 2024, having chemistry in 12 standards will not be necessary as before.
- JEE will be conducted in 13 Languages i.e., English, Hindi, Assamese, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu
- In 2024 more than 12 Lakh candidates appeared for session I and more than 11 lakh candidates appeared for Jee Main session 2.

Candidates have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from a recognised board
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2023, and 2024 or are appearing for it in 2025 will only be eligible for JEE Main 2025.
If Students have studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Business Studies, Computer Science, Electronics and IT in class 12th, they can apply. And it is necessary to pass 12th with any three subjects out of other vocational subjects. But, it will be mandatory to keep two subjects- Physics and Maths in class 12th.

How to apply for JEE Main 2025 Second Session ?
First you have register at NTA website and create PASSWORD and choose Security Question and enter your answer. After successful submission of the personal details, an Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and will also be required for all future reference/correspondence. The generated application number will be used/referred for both Sessions of JEE (Main) – 2025.
For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to login directly with his/her respective system generated Application Number and the chosen Password.
