Paper 2 will be conducted on April 12.
The paper 1, the exam will be conducted in two shifts — the first shift will be conducted from 9 to 12 pm and the second shift will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. NTA Also announced the date of examination for JEE Main Session- 2. The will be held on April 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9 for BE/B.Tech. papers in two shifts i.e. 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
B. Arch. /B. Plan. Paper will be held on 12-April 2024 in one Shift 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

- On the homepage of the website, go to the latest news section.
- Click on the link that reads “ JEE Main 2024 Application Correction”.
- A login window will appear on your screen.
- Enter your “application number & date of birth”.
- Click on the “login” option.
- JEE Main 2024 session 2 application form will appear on your screen.
- Correct the required field and review the form.
- Select the mode of payment & pay the application fees.
- Once done, click on the “Save & Submit” option.
- Save the confirmation fees page for further use.
The registration last date has been extended till 4 March Monday 2024 and the Correction window will open on 6 March and Close on 7 March 2024. The application for JEE Main Session 2 has been released on 2 February 2024.

JEE main qualification criteria
- Candidates have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from a recognized board
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2022, and 2023 or are appearing for it in 2024 will only be eligible for JEE Main 2024.
- If Students have studied Physics, Chemistry, Math, Biology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Business Studies, Computer Science, Electronics and IT in class 12th, they can apply.
- It is necessary to pass 12th with any three subjects out of other vocational subjects. But it will be mandatory to keep two subjects- Physics and Math in class 12th.
The candidates should have 5 subjects mentioned below-:
· Language
· Mathematics
· Physics
· Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject
· Any other subject
Percentage Required for Admission in IITs NITs IIITs and CFTIs
- For B.Tech / B.Arch /B.Plan admissions in IITs, NITs and CFITs
- Candidates should have secured a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST category candidates) or should fall under the top 20 percentile of their respective boards

- The intimation slip is released by NTA for the city allotted to the candidates. This is released before the Admit Card.
JEE main 2024v Counselling
The counselling date is announced by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority after the declaration of the result. It is expected that the counselling will take place tentatively in June and July. There is a total of six rounds of counselling and seat allotment.
Candidates who will appear in JEE Main 2024 and obtain a score will be eligible to participate in the JEE Main counselling for admission to NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs.
