JEE Advanced 2025: 2023 passed candidates allowed only with restriction
JEE Advanced 2025: The registration process has started for JEE Advanced 2025 today April 23. The candidates in top 2.5 Lakh in JEE Main 2025 are eligible to apply. It is important to note that candidates who passed class XII in 2025 or 2024 can apply.

This is for the first time JAB board has given go ahead to the candidates who have appeared in the year 2023 with the exception mentioned below
2023 passed candidates
if the examination Board of Class XII (or equivalent) declared the results for the academic year 2022-23 on or after June 28, 2023, then the candidates of that Board who appeared for their Class XII (or equivalent) examination in 2023 are also eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2025, provided they meet all the other eligibility criteria. JEE Advanced 2025: 2023 passed candidates allowed only with restriction
The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India has passed a direction in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 854/2024 and 17/2025 on 10.01.2025 permitting those candidates who have withdrawn from their courses and dropped out between 05.11.2024 to 18.11.2024, to register for JEE (Advanced) 2025. All such prospective candidates who thus become eligible to register for JEE (Advanced) 2025 are requested to see Annexure VI for more details.
A letter duly stamped and signed, from the Head of their Institution (Dean/Principal/Director)
An affidavit duly stamped and attested by a notary public, on a nonjudicial stamp paper of Rs. 10
The affidavit should be of the candidate if she/he is more than 18 years of age. If the candidate is less than 18 years of age, the affidavit should be given by her/his parent or legal guardian. 3. Withdrawal letter/notification issued to the candidate from her/his college/university/institute.
